BNP Paribas Fortis started in 2014 in Belgium with the commercialization of the acquiring products of SIX Payments Services. In five years’ time, we have built up a good customer base of 15.000 customers, thanks to our reliable service.
In order to strengthen the bank-acquirer model and to further expand the product offering, Axepta BNP Paribas was founded in 2019. Axepta BNP Paribas is recognized by the Belgian National Bank as a payment institution and has licenses from Bancontact, VISA and MasterCard.
In 2021 Axepta BNP Paribas takes over Ingenico In-store, with whom we can count on a 40 years experience in payment solutions and more than 15.000 Ingenico customers.
